AP – 9/9

We discussed Didion in small groups and started to look at questions we have about her piece.

Tomorrow we will finish Didion and discuss Frost’s piece Education by Poetry

We talked about notes:

  • Take them
  • Read well, not to just get done, but to know parts well and to know where you stand on those parts
  • Use the rhetoric triangle
  • Use SoapsTONE (speaker, occasion, audience, purpose, syntax, and tone)
  • Use the Framework
  • Underline stuff you __________ and analyze why you ______________ it.
